Right on, Stan. I don't want to rouse or rile the slumbering moles in the mountains either, but many if not most of the so-called accessibility features make good common sense in general. The Galehead debacle was mainly poor planning.
 
ADA compliance in the woods?

Not to continue to take this thread offtrack from a discussion of the huts, but the Americans with Disabilities Act is much more than ramps for those in wheelchairs. Vision imparements/blindness, hearing loss, arthritic knees/hands, are all accomodated with the act.
