Lonesome lake to Kinsman ridge. To Kinsman Pond shelter and down Fishin' Jimmy trail.
Conditions: Very good considering the rain the couple days before.

I forgot how that roller coaster section slows you down. That part of KRT takes alot longer than most other miles in the Whites. But I wasn't in any rush anyway.... Fun day hike.
Picked up an unexpected visitor (tick.) Looks like ticks in the Whites are on the increase. Over the previous 10 years I've seen more moose on the trail than ticks.... Be sure to check yourself. I didn't find it until 2 days later. Doc put me on antibiotics.
