Trail conditions: frozen crust, icy sections and some postholes.
From the looks of the frozen tracks someone walked up the trail in boots when the snow was soft (leaving lots of postholes) and came down in snowshoes (why not use the snowshoes on the way up?) Trail had lots of icy sections when you reach the slab area and again up the final ascent to Cannon. One blowdown between the the east peak and the Cannon summit.
Equipment: microspikes or other traction for icy sections, snowshoes
I used EVO ascents on the way up with the televator to make the steepness easier to handle. Switched to microspikes on the final rocky approach to the summit and kept them on for the trip down since the snow was hard crusted.
