Kinsman Ridge Trail from the Tramway is still as steep as usual. Snow and ice started at about 3000 ft. with exposed rocks and bare ground. I put on my spikes and Bunky put on his stabilicers at around 3500 ft. (just where the ski trail is roped off and the trail takes a 90 degree turn to the left). Could have removed them just before the view, but left them on to the top and back. No blow downs. Trees were well laden with snow. About 3-4" of snow at the summit. Nice and sunny with no wind. Temps were mild. A nice day for a hike. Kudos to Bunky on the completion of his 3rd complete set of NH 4Ks.
