I got a late start so I decided to do this quick trail with the mighty tough little dog. The trails was slightly crunchy and supportive snowshoe prints and I barebooted up without causing any significant trail damage but knew I had to snowshoe down to avoid that, and did. I met a couple who were snowshoeing on the way down so the trail should be nicely packed. I cut out a lot of blowdown but 1 crawl over and 1 duck under, and two leaners remain. This trail looks so much better in snow.
