For those of you that have been to both landmarks, I was curious, how does Cantilever Rock on the west side of Mansfield stack up against Piazza Rock on the AT south of Saddleback. Any comparison? Does anyone know of any other feature in the northeast that is similar and how does it compare?

I'll vote for Cantilever too, Had to go back there last time I was on Mansfield even though I did not have a camera & was more interested in doing some ridgewalking.

Piazza Rock, been there, done that. It's out in the nice woods though

Is that Mt. Agamenticus? Dang, I was just there, and I missed that!
OK, so I stretched the "near" a bit to keep the mountain theme.
It's a few miles away from the mountain proper. Happy to provide directions but I'll have to go out and measure some back road distances.

Rather different actually. Piazza looks real solid and you can practically camp under it. Cantilever looks like it might fall any moment, but you can hardly get under it at all.
