All that time planning and waiting really paid off. Thanks for all your help. Dunes Edge Campground couldn't have been better. Would have been happy staying there the whole time riding bikes around the campground with the kids and relaxing.
Had one of those campfires at Herring Cove Beach Tuesday night but wasn't thinking when I started it below high tide line
funny...we had fun trying to keep the water from taking over but eventually...it got extinguished hahaha.
A hike through the dunes just behind the campground was awesome - super windy! Got pored on ALL Wednesday night (lightning and thunder) but stayed dry. Kids slept right through it...I tossed and turned.
Thursday night even heard coyotes out in the dunes yelping away. Cool bird life out there. Saw a few seals and even had the guts to go swimming
