Trails clear of ice and snow except for a couple of black ice patches on the upper corners on the Holt Trail, of all places. Easily avoided once seen. No blowdowns or crossing issues and very little mud.
Poles helpful on the leaves in the woods.
Another perfect day, comfortable and with clear views to the Presidentials and beyond. Holt Trail is always entertaining and the ramble over Firescrew and down keeps the views going.
