19 mile brook was well packed and could be bare-booted until just before the carter-moriah trail where snow drifts were numerous and deep. Snow shoes then were needed. The trail to the summit was unpacked with a over a foot of snow in places. Very difficult breaking the steep section, snowshoes seemed to slip alot, but probably better than crampons due to the volume of snow. From the summit carter dome trail was broken (yea!!) and a nice trip out. Now, until more snow, the whole circuit is packed out well.
Several trees down, one a little difficult, but could crawl under.
