Trail Conditions: Nineteen Mile Brook trail well packed, I bare booted. A previous party broke out the Carter Dome trail broken out to ~3500'. They lost the trail and turned around. Just below where they stopped, I bushwacked climbers left for maybe 10 minutes in open woods and picked up the trail again, unbroken this time. Deep powder with many tree limbs down or over hanging the trail. I was headed for Mt. Hight but I couldn't find the turn left and instead followed the Carter Dome trail towards Carter Dome. I ran out of time for the summit. Carter-Moriah trail towards South Carter is also not broken.
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes essential, crampons not necessary.
Comments: Difficult travel above Zeta Pass, lots of snow and tree limbs obstructing trail.
