Conditions: Cascade Brook in good shape from Pemi trail to the Kinsman Pond trail. Very rocky and mucky above there. Fishin Jimmy quite rugged with some steep sections. Kinsman Pond trail very nice on the lower half, rocky on the upper half, but easy to keep from getting your feet wet while following the stream bed (large rocks), very nice following the brook. Basin Cascade trail very eroded and muddy, but beautifully follows the brook with many fine cascades and pools (many tourists as well). The Dodge cutoff is tricky to find on the soulth end, and has many blowdowns (6 in 0.3 miles) but the trail only has one wet section.
