Conditions: Trail is in excellent shape. A few slight muddy areas but not a major issue. No downed trees. The black flies are out, however, today they were not especially terrible as long as you were moving. Bring bug spray, wear long sleeves and pants.
Comments: Today, Friday, in the late afternoon, there were very few hikers on the trail. The wood stairs at the very beginning of the trail are going to need maintenance in the near future.
