Previously, on my Seward thread, I announced a climb up Cascade for Friday, 12/31, to finish my winter 46. The rainy forcast has given me reason to move it up to Thursday, with an 11 am start from the Rt 73 trailhead.
Sorry for the change in plans for anyone who had considered to join my family and celebrate with us. I think my non-hiking sister from Houston would prefer a better day then wet and possibly no view.
All are welcome to join Thursday, but this is really short notice. I know a lot of people will be out somewhere in the Adirondacks tomorrow enjoying a good day of hiking. So will we. A celebration somewhere in the Keene Valley or Lake Placid area will also occur tomorrow dinnertime. Check with the Keene Valley Lodge B & B and we will leave details.
