Trail Conditions: Trail was broken out the entire way, but covered with a thick crust of ice that made it very slippery.
Special Equipment Required: Traction needed. I wore snowshoes on the lower portion and then switched to crampons on the way up. Crampons only on the descent and no problems with post holing due to thick crust.
Comments: Great day for a hike.
