Date of Hike: Saturday 12/19
Trail Conditions: firm, packed snow as far as Champney Falls; either barebooting or light traction will work fine. Above the falls, looser, mashed potato snow, not deep, but snowshoes are still helpful for stability and efficiency. Just a few easy blowdowns.
Special Equipment Required: snowshoes and poles.
