Date of Hike: Sunday 2/10
Trail Conditions: partially packed for us, but well packed now. Our group of six all made it to the summit but only after some wandering trying to find the trail. Cairns are scarce above treeline and most blazes are all buried under snow and ice.
Special Equipment Required: snowshoes essential. I have not encountered snow this deep on the summit before. We brought crampons but never switched over.
Comments: day three of the Rat Pack's annual hiking, beer swilling and artery-clogging festivities at the Radeke Cabin. Thanks gents for three days of great hiking and fun times.
