Trail Condition: Still a little snowbank after the last house on Pagus Mill road. Plowed through with my truck but small cars could not make it through. Probably be gone in a couple more days. Quite wet with lots of water running down the trail in most places. Crossing of Durrell brook no problem, water not too high, crossing on rocks no problem. A little snow up higher near the cabin, no need for snowshoes or other traction devices. Ledges above the cabin slippery when wet, otherwise no problem. Trail blazes hard to follow on ledges got turned around once.
Equipment needed: Waterproof boots a must otherwise nothing special.
Comments: Hit the trailhead at 7:00 AM, on top by 9:30. Light rain and totally socked in. No views today. On top for an hour very little wind temps in the 40's. Still great to be out though and a great day on the Chocorua. Saw a few other folks headed up on our way down but otherwise a quiet trip. Down at 12:00 PM.
