Great Trip!

Glad you got to some breweries. We were out there 6/27-7/5 and got our first 14er on Eolus out by durango. What a great state!

1st day at camps had headaches at 10000 feet
2nd day we fooled around and got up to 13000+ ft with light headedness, headaches, and exhaustion.
3rd day we went over continental divide at 12800 and still felt the effects pretty good (had to carry a pack for someone in the group)
4th day was over 12400 and still had to carry an extra pack again
5th day was rest
6th day was Eolus and no trouble with altitude after a week of acclimating.

Thats tough going right out there and attempting to get up to altitude within a day or two. Good work on two peaks in one day!

I was hoping the 4 days at 5000', and a day at 9000' would have helped more, but maybe not....
