Not a hiking trip by any means, but I thought I'd post some of my pics from my trip along the Connecticut River while we wait for everyone to come back from their weekend hikes. :) I live right at the Hanover/Norwich border in NH so I got my bike out and rode it down into VT, and into Norwich along River Rd, then along Rt 5 a good 10 miles till East Thetford. From there, I took a bridge back into NH where I entered Lyme. I took my first right onto River Rd and followed it to Rt 10 in Hanover, and then headed back into town. This is a great 21 mile bike ride that was much easier than I thought it was going to be thanks to all flat sections. Plus, I took my time (taking pictures....) so I barely feel any burn at all. The highlight was probably river road in Lyme and Hanover. If you're a biker, and are in the area, this is a must for a lazy afternoon. I tried to take a long time and it only took me a little over 2 hours. A few pics....
