There is 1 glaring typo about how high the fire towers are ( 200-800' :eek: ) but otherwise I thought it was a very good article.

I think the article meant to say 20-80'. However, I know that there are still a few standing that are 80'+, (Ninham is 87', the tallest still standing), and I believe there were some that were higher.
 
Note that the article refers you to the Beebe Hill website, but doesn't mention the restored tower on Beebe Hill or any others outside the Catskills/Adirondacks.
