Trails up to Bradley Pond were very and easy to follow. A fairly easy climb. From the herd path to somewhere near Times Square was not the normal herd path, but it was very clear and easy to follow regardless. Upon reaching an intersection with four trails it was confusing because it wasn't Times Square. I wandered around a few minutes to try to find TS and ran into some people coming off Santanoni who told us that the intersection was the beginning of the herdpaths to the 3 peaks. We took the middle path toward Cooch. The herd path is extremely easy to follow and led a 1 hour climb to Cooch. Only limited obstructions of pine branches on the way, and a nice climb on the way back. We then headed over to Panther where we followed snow shoe prints all over the top but couldn't find the summit sign anywhere. There were three of us who had previously been on Panther, but due to cloud cover and a high snow pack we concluded that the sign was hidden by ice/snow. The trip down was uneventful wtih some great butt slides coming down the herdpath. All and all a great but difficult day in the Santanonis. This is the time of year to do Cooch, there is very little chance of getting lost due to a clear herdpath.
