About 11AM 30 y/o male rescued with broken leg carried down rocky branch trail to Jericho rd. Ambulance ride from there.
Starting around 1PM group of 6 to 8 people caught in avalanche in or near central gully below precipice in Huntingtons ravine. One received lower leg injuries. Possible tib/fib or ankle fracture. Six stayed with him two more with rescuer heading back up along with call out from MRS. Last heard (1615) it sounded like they were approaching Hermit shelter from the fire rd. All this is sketchey right now.
Its dark and they are still out there and there is I believe heavy snow squalls at times. Good luck the all the rescuers out there and the victim.
