Trail Conditions: mud and slick in spots, upper few hundred feet around the summits had some ice (nothing major); Saturday's rain washed most of it away
Special Equipment Required: did use the microspikes when initially descending off each summit --- helpful but not essential
Comments: (a) wonderful views from the cirque, (b) wow! freight train winds overhead --- had thought about doing Bigelows but Crocks were the right choice, (c) Caribou Valley Road is driveable with a high clearance vehicle ... a few of the bridges look sketchy but they are solid since they sit on massive steel (even though the surface-wood is rotted on many of them)
[email protected] (fyi: will be doing a loop over Crockers-Redington-Spaulding some time in Nov. with Graybeard ... let us know if interested and we'll work out the date)
