My hike that I was leading for AMC I decided to postpone due to rain today 6/5. This 13 mile day hike has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 3. If anyone is interested in hiking the AT in the Taconics from Race Brook south thru to Salisbury, CT please e-mail me [email protected] . This is a beautiful section of the AT in the Taconics. We will be climbing Race, Bear (highest summit in CT) & Lions Head Mountains. We will also see Race Brook Falls, Bear Rock Falls & Sages Ravine. It is also the first in a series of five annual day hikes along the AT thru CT.
