Since I don't have time to scout it out and going on Mapquest didn't give me accurate road names, the question is: Could anyone give me driving directions from VT 100C to the Davis Neighborhood trailhead for this access spur trail to the Long Trail northeast of Johnson, VT that intersects the LT at Parker Camp? If there is a shortcut approaching from the north (Eden) and its different than coming from the south (Johnson) please indicate directions from both.

Directions

From "The Long Trail Guide", 25th ed., 2003: "This trail utilizes a Class 4 [?]town road and an old logging road in the so-called Davis Neighborhood, north of Johnson. Take Foote Brook Road north from VT 15, 1.2 mi. west of Johnson and 0.4 mi. east of the Lamoille River. Drive straight through two offset intersections, then turn right on Cross Road to Davis Neighborhood Road, the trailhead, with limited roadside parking at 4.0 mi. Summer parking is also located 0.2 mi. down Davis Neighborhood Road. From Cross Road (0.0 mi.), follow Davis Neighborhood Road north and ascend moderately past a camp to the Long Trail State Forest boundary. Continue on the now-abandodned road uphill past the site of the former Parker Camp (1.2 mi.) to the Long Trail (1.5 mi.) just east of Corliss Camp. 1.5 mi., 2.4 km., 1 hr. (Rev. 3/4 hr.)"

It looks like about 500' of elevation gain.

The map also shows road access from VT 100C but the roads aren't named and there are no directions given for these accesses.

The map doesn't show any access to the LT from the north in this area.

Hope this helps.
