From Wawayanda Lake in northwestern NJ on Sunday. This is Daxs' new Impex Force 3 that she bought at Paddlefest in Old Forge on Friday... Very nice kayak, I sat in it and it's a lot more snug than my Mystic in the same color scheme, except the cockpit length is slightly longer and has a much lower back for easier backdeck rolls.

That's a great kayak. I paddled it at a demo a couple weeks ago. The Force Cat 3 and the Outer Island were my favorites of all the boats there.

This past weekend I bought a used Wilderness Systems Arctic Hawk... can't wait to get it foamed up and get on it!

Daxs is very pleased with her new purchase. If anyone is interested, JayH, myself and maybe a few other VFTT'rs will be paddling in the Cape May area over the Memorial Day weekend.

The outer island seems like much too volume for a small person like me. I didn't paddle the Force 3 for fear of being tempted, but now I have a way to test it out! woohoo...

Sweet ride Daxs! Congrats on the newest addition! I'd love to join you for a paddle sometime but this weekend I'll be giving my crampons another workout out west .

I may be headed up to MCorsar's place the weekend after Memorial Day down at Cape May and be paddling the Wallkill as well as perhaps biking the railtrail there.

Perhaps have time on friday (my day off) to do some trail maintenance on the CO trail in the cats in anticipation of National Trails Day on Saturday...
