As an owner of an Australian Shepard, my guard is never down for ticks. Did Pitcher mt in Stoddard yesterday, as my dog has a bum leg and we are "resting" it. Took the dirt road up, but the descent trail corridor was so narrow, the brush was like going through a car wash. Went 200ft and retraced out steps and took the road down. AS for the peak itself, boy that little sucker had 360 degree views for miles from the fire tower.
