Dial and Nippletop 1-2-16

Now that the holiday madness is finally over I was able to make it up to the High Peaks to get 2016 started off right! Ended up doing Dial and Nippletop and despite the lack of views for most of the day it was pretty fun and uneventful. Elk Pass was in excellent sliding condition which made for a quick descent. We didn't need snow shoes as the snow wasn't deep and was well packed the whole way. We used micro spikes after Dial for the section up to Nippletop and the descent. All in all it was a fun way to kick off the year.
