Does anyone know Alan Abbadangelo?

If there is anyone out there who knows Alan Abbadangelo, could they please get word to him that the Trail Conditions is not a place for anything but Trail Conditions reports? We can't edit or delete posts in Trail Conditions. If you value, like we all do, the information contained in the great reports that are posted there, we want to keep it as Trail Conditions, not a place where folks post ANYTHING else. Its admirable he's trying to find the owner of lost gear, but we're trying to keep the area for what its designed for.
I've unsuccessfully tried to get this message to him other times and would appreciate it if someone could do it for us.

i know who he is and sometimes see him at the gym. i'll try to remember to mention it to him. i don't think he gets into the discussions but does post his hiking a lot so he probably just thought to post it there. i'm not sure what you are referring to, but i'll check so i know what i'm talking about if i see him.

Thanks, we appreciate it. He posted a lost and found and has done it a couple of times before. We really don't have a good place to post things like that on VFTT.
