I think its great that my wife reads posts. She wasn't born into a hiking family and it wasn't till we were engaged (and she was by then locked in :D )that she expressed a desire to hike. Now she's gung ho for it and this allows her a view of the hiking culture and why it's so important to so many of us.

My wife will hike with me but she is not a big fan of hiking; mostly she goes to be with the family. She does like to look at this site to see any avatars with cats.

After all,that's how Mrs KD and I met,and that's only lasted 10 years so far! :D
 
He's a dog

My S>O> happens to be a fourteen year old yellow Labrador Retriever. The keyboard hurts his paws, and he gets the mouse all dog slobber so he's been banned from using the computer. :D

my S.O. (wife) used to drop by to read my trip reports when she wanted to know what I did when I was gone. Now she has me print them.

I'm not sure if anyone has a greater lack of interest in hiking.
