Dog Hike! Toby's NH 48 Finish on Lafayette/Lincoln - July 9th

When? Saturday July 9 (with bad weather date of Sunday July 10), 9:00am
Where? Lafayette and Lincoln (OBP/Falling Waters trailhead)
Occasion? Toby the trail dog's NH 48 finish!

On 9/12/2010, my dog Toby embarked on his 4,000 footer journey with a hike up Waumbek:

I can't believe that less than 10 months (and 63 4,000 footers later, as he was kind enough to hike a few peaks multiple times to feed Mom's grid needs ) later, he's set to finish his list this weekend!

I'd like to invite any interested folks - canine and human alike - to join us for the occasion. Toby LOVES to make new dog friends, so the more pups the better. This will be a fun, very leisurely paced hike. We plan on spending a lot of time enjoying the ridge, and I plan on bringing a few treats up to enjoy on Lafayette. Hope some of you can make it!

The forecast is looking decent tomorrow so the hike is on! Toby, Tuck and I will plan on being at OBP/Falling Waters a little before 9 (if I can wake up at a decent hour, that is). Looking forward to a fun hike!

Fantastic! I can't wait to see you both as it's been a LONG time.

We plan on taking Falling Waters up and heading down OBP. We can definitely wait for you if you're running late - just text to let me know.
