Hiked the Drakes Brook Trail to Jennings Peak and back via the Sandwich Mountain Trail on January 21. The air temp was 4 degrees when we started and we never saw anyone else the entire day. Both trails are broken out, although the Sandwich Mountain Trail from the junction with the Drakes Brook Trail to Sandwich Dome did not look broken out (probably 6 inches of powder). There was not a lot of snow, barely enough to glissade down. Great views of the Tripyramids from on top for relatively little effort. Used snowshoes the entire way; carried crampons but never had a reason to use them.
