Its been too long since my last good hike, so I decided I would take couple of days out of my work days and venture out to get back into it. Weekends are for kids ( we hike but not the big mtns..YET ).
I took Monday off and my trusty dog Chunka and I headed out to Osceolas for the day! I am so glad I decided to do this, it was a perfect day, nice breeze enough to keep the bugs away and sun enough to keep me warm but not too warm. I remember why I used to hike every weekend! I am done with my 48, so we are working on Chunkas. we are half way done, and my goal for this summer is to complete her list if time allows.
for the trail report, I was pleasantly surprised at how not muddy it was after all the rain we have been getting. all the trouble spots of course had bridges. I came out pretty spiffy clean
all and all, it was a great hike.
