Trail : Greeley Pond Trail from the Kanc, Osceola Trail
Trail Conditions: 4-8 inches of fresh snow on a well packed base. Some of the brook crossings had a snow bridge..some were still open..none particularly difficult though a couple of high bankings
Special Equipment: Snowshoe and pole day..poles served a double use bushwackin' snow off the overhanging branches. Winter gear as temps dropped all day..low teens and blustery as we got back to the car.
Comments: Fine winter day in the mountains. Broke out trail to around 3600 feet where wind was really picking up and our turn-around time approached.. With somewhat of a late start and erring on the side of caution we took great delight in snowshoeing down further packing the base making it better for the next time..
