Date of Hike: 12/Jan/08
Trail Conditions: Greeley Ponds trail was a hard packed mix of snow and ice. Due to the minimal elevation gain it was easily bare-bootable.
The Mt Osceola trail was also a hard packed mix of snow and ice but with the steepness of the trail it was like walking up a bobsled chute.
Special Equipment Required: Crampons were essential on the Mt Osceola trail. Snow-shoes not needed today.
Comments: Optional -Spectacular views to the North, temps were in the mid 30's, a great day to be in the woods.
