Thinking of doing East Sleeper Monday, January 28 via Downes Brook and Kate Sleeper Trails. Attempted it December 20 via Whiteface side and failed. Fell way behind schedule breaking trails (no snowshoes) that day and ended up walking out in the dark. Let me know if anyone is interested. I understand that Kate Sleeper trail may be a challenge because of blow-downs. I need this summit for my NE 100 list.
