Burgundy Muffins With White Frosting
A very nice day above treeline, with light winds, loads of sun, and easy traveling through the Southern Prezzies. Some ice and snow here and there, but not enough of either to be an issue, and generally enough exposed rock for hopping to avoid the sections of the trail where the trench was filled with snow - I wore Inov8 345's with a handful of MF44 1/2" Eliminator screws, which was just about right for today's conditions. The Diapensia "muffins" were really glowing with deep crimson colors today, perhaps looking forward to their flowering under such a warm sun. I saw a total of three people all day, which seemed amazing given the conditions, but it is a Monday after all.
