I drove the Mt Clinton Road on Memorial Day. It was open from one end to the other. There were cars parked at the Edmunds Path trailhead.

Happy trails,
Glenn

Not the most current info but, I was up Edmonds two weeks ago. Dry and clear to the stone gate (around 3500') and then the snow started. The drifting was quite deep in places with the typical monorail. Snow was well consolidated, I didn't use snowshoes but microspikes came in very handy. Obviously, once you hit the ridge all snow is gone except for pockets in the woods and shade. Happpy trails!!

The USFS Road Closures page has been known to not be accurate in relation to Mt Clinton Road. The road is maintained by NHDOT and they don't always get information to USFS about when roads open in a timely manner.

Last year, I went up Edmands Path the second weekend in June. The USFS Website had the road listed as closed - I think it was the last one listed as such. I called USFS and they weren't sure, so they directed me to call NHDOT since they're the maintainers. NHDOT informed me that it was indeed open. I mentioned that the website said that it was closed and within a couple of days the website got updated.

Just goes to show that it certainly doesn't hurt to make a phone call or two to save yourself some time.
