Mts. Eisenhower and Pierce via Edmands and Crawford Paths, Sunday, May 27, 2012. The slab area on the upper end of Edmands Path was wet (have seen snow in this particular spot as late as 2nd week in June in prior years). Crawford Path has several muddy spots, particularly in the area just above the junction of lower Mizpath Cut-off. Otherwise, all trails were dry.
Special equipment needed - sunscreen and bug repellent. Black flies were attacking us; in some areas bugs were thicker than others.
Visibility was good today and skies were blue; the clouds didn't come in until later. Trails were crowded. Three separate groups from Stratham/Exeter were on the summit of Eisenhower at the same time - what's the likelihood of that!
