Isolation attempt, Rocky Branch and bushwacks, 3/17/08. Followed lovely packed bushwack from height of land to about 1/4 mi. WSW of Isolation Bk., then cut west for drainage located on N side of Isolation. Followed drainage NNW and up into thick spruce, then diverged W; climbed steep and heavy trees to subsidiary summit ~1/4 mi. north of Isolation summit. Great views all around, but out of time. Backtracked to drainage, then followed it down and ESE to Isolation Bk. through some lovely glades and meadows, climbed back up to packed 'wack and slogged out. Back for this one some other time. Don't let any one tell you the smaller mountains are the easier ones!
