Junior have a plan to hike Macomb and South Dix Friday 12-09-05, Do You know if the Elk Lake road will be reopen this Friday to stop at the usual winter gate near Clear Pond?

Pinpin Junior, the nice lady at the lodge (phone (518) 532-7616) says you can park at the caretakers house and hike into the trailhead (about 2 miles). Hunting's done, so you're safe, unless the Rambo Nip Nip mistakes you for Tally-Ban. You related to Nip Nip ?
