Told a friend of the venture 25 snoeshoes at 84$ this am and now there not even on the web page...they where old models but what the hey....same thing....

I got an email today which said that everything was 25% off and you didn't even need a coupon. They have microspikes for $44.xx there which is over my minimum but thought that their coupon FANDF2008 was 25% off so if it let me buy them for $44.xx and 25% off, I guess it'll be OK. I think they are overpriced for what they are.. A bit of rubber and some chain! But when I added it to my cart and tried to apply the coupon, it didn't change the price so no sale from me.

Maybe I'll make my own. I can find Yaktrax on STP for $13!!! I could hack the rubber part out and wire my own chainlink over them....

Or I could just make some hobnail boots...

I got a yellow post card from the Simsbury CT store for 30% off for Dec 7 10AM to 1PM only, no patagonia, merril, necky, ugg. "lets get festive"

Anybody know what the typical markup is for the non-house brands like BD, Petzl, etc.?

Check it out but I think the $44.25 price has already taken into account the discount

Yeah, I did check it out, I put it in my checkout and tried FANDF2008 and it accepted the coupon but took nothing off...

I keep thinking of making a pair...
