I've signed up for a class at EMS, north conway, that needs at least one more person for the class to run so I'm hoping this might interest someone on this forum. The dates are Wed, Jan 23 or Fri Jan 25. (there are weekend classes that are available and have enough enrollment but I'll be hiking on those dates.) The class costs $150. Good opportunity to learn ice axe basics as well as crampon and other winter climbing skills. Here's the link:
