Date of Hike: January 17th, 2009
Route followed : Marble Mountain.
Trail conditions : All broken. We were surprised to see a new sign showing the beginning of the herd path to Esther. Things have changed !
Special Equipment Required: Warm clothes, but no goggles/face mask. We saw a girl who went all the way up wearing crampons only. She didn't really post-hole, it's so cold the snow is very consolidated. Plus Julie and I were wearing very flashy white mascara
Comments: Fun day, with limited but very enjoyable views. It was great to hike with my good friends Mario and Julie. They were there for the 115W, I was there just for fun. (But I missed my usual partner)
