Last September at the Bear 100 in Utah, I had the pleasure of meeting Neil. He was running his second 100 miler (first one was Wasatch many years ago!) as qualification for entry into Hardrock. Turns out he is a friend of a friend. Real nice, down-to-Earth guy.
