Failed attempt to Mt. Osceola on 4/4

Didn't realize Tripoli Road was still closed so walked to trailhead-took a little over an hour. Prior to putting on snowshoes I sunk two feet into the snow. Snowshoes are essential. I hiked about 1/2 miles and saw first yellow mark on tree. Bushwashed all over the place trying to find the continuation of the trail but could not. The snow is so high it's hiding the yellow trail markers. Disappointing.
