trails: falls in the river trail
conditions: parked off of rt. 3 in a large parking area at the southern end of second connecticut lake by dam. the trail (part of the cohos trail) runs south along the connecticut river. the footbed was nice and never too muddy. bog bridging quite slippery. about .5 miles after the falls the trail reaches a junction with the moose alley trail which is where we doubled back.
equipment: nothing in particular.
comments: nice walk along the river. views around the falls and in other areas along the trail are quite nice.
