Trail was broken out well until the A-Z Trail junction, then packed down well the rest of the way to Field with a new coat of snow on top. After Field, the Willey Range trail disappeared down in the col between Field and Willey. Either I was the first person on this stretch for quite some time, or there's been a lot of wind blowing the snow around. I did a good job following where it should be for a while, but lost the trail completely a few tenths from the summit and hit my turn around time. I passed a lot of people headed towards Willey on my way back. Hopefully they had more time and better luck than I did.
The big cairn on Field is completely covered over with snow - not a trace of it to be seen. You can also see right over all the trees. I imagine there'd be quite a view from here if it weren't cloudy all day.
