Date of Hike: Thur. 01-07-10
Trails: Avalon, Willey Range, Tom Spur, AZ
Conditions are perfect as per Silverfox's thread from yesterday. A little bit more packed after today. Eight other hikers on the trail today. Two bare-booters pocking their way up to Tom. Trails are a sidewalk, use 'em while you can.
Snowshoes all the way. No other traction needed.
Thanks again to Hiker Ed, Silverfox, and et al for the excellent trail breaking of yesterday.
Met up with Jeff Cutter on the trail today.
