Snow line begins about 2000'
Summit of Fir and Big Indian have 12" - 14" of snow. Deeper pockets of snow encountered in the Fir / BI col. Very little ice encountered. Entire trip was a bushwhack.
Over the past three weeks, the snow depth has been increasing in the Cats. It's definitely snowshoe time.
